Project Manager

The Project Manager works within the Agency Services Group to manage all projects within assigned client vertical. Responsible for creating and executing project work plans, guiding client projects through creative, digital production and development, the project manager is involved in all aspects of the project from project initiation to closure.

Working relationships
• Reports to Manager of Agency Services Group
• Works closely with the client and internal team members throughout the entirety of the project

Responsibilities
• Works closely with Account Team and client to learn their business and project needs.
• Proactively seeks information critical to client projects.
• Sets and manages client and internal team expectations.
• Provides timely issuance of all project work plans and relevant project documentation
• Reviews the status reports of team members and addresses issues as appropriate.
• Keeps track of lessons learned and shares those lessons with team members.
• Acts as team leader with an understanding of the project processes.
• Leads cross-functional internal project teams/task forces
• Motivates team to work together in the most efficient manner.
• Mitigates team conflict and communication problems.
• Complies with and helps to enforce standard policies and procedures.
• Suggests areas for improvement in internal processes along with possible solutions.
• Prioritizes and manages multiple client projects simultaneously

Project Management
• Gathers the necessary information to plan and implement each client project.
• Assures project scope, estimate and relevant legal documents are completed and signed.
• Works with the client and internal team members to determine and develop project strategy, scope, budget, and timeline of project
• Creates and executes project work plans and revises as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements.
• Manages resources to ensure projects are on time and on budget.
• Keeps project team well informed of changes.
• Effectively communicates relevant project information to superiors.
• Resolves and/or escalates issues in a timely fashion.
• Identifies resources needed and assigns individual responsibilities.
• Manages day-to-day operational aspects of a project and scope.
• Ensures deliverables are met by team before passing to account and client.
• Effectively applies our methodology and enforces project standards.
• Identifies, monitors, and controls the exposure and risk on project.
• Ensures project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately.
• Manages project budget.
• Invoices projects and maintains ongoing accounting status reports for clients

Minimum Requirements
• Minimum of a BA/BS degree
• General understanding of project management practices and principles
• 2-4 years of experience in a fast-paced business environment a plus
